The cutest dress on the block with extra-large pockets and a short vintage length full skirt. Lara has snaps at the back for easy fastening. This dress also has a beautiful Peter Pan collar. The bodice is split, so choose a patterned fabric as your base and combine with a plain colour, or choose it the other way around. Have a look at our Amy, Mienkie and Annemarie dresses for variations on this pattern.  All Once Upon A Thread dresses has a lined bodice and is from woven (non-stretch) 100% cotton fabric.

What are the courier costs?
  • R90.00 (3-5 business days): Door-to-Door (nationwide), by The Courier Guy
  • R70.00 (7-9 business days): Pudo
  • The Once upon a Thread summer range is made from Cotton twill fabric. Cotton will is a durable natural fabric. Since it is a natural fabric, cotton can shrink.
  • However, all fabric is pre-washed before cutting to ensure shrinkage is kept to the absolute minimum after sewing.
  1. Cold hand- or machine wash
  2. Cool to medium iron
  3. Do not tumble dry
  4. Dry flat
  5. Do not bleach
  6. Wash like colours separately
  7. Make sure the garment is completely dry before storing to prevent mildew
 
  • The Once upon a Thread winter range is made from stretch velvet fabric. Velvet is a delicate fabric that must be treated with care to preserve its beauty. Velvets generally do not shrink nor wrinkle.
  1. Cold hand- or machine wash

  3. Dry flat (very important to prevent stretching)
  4. Do not iron
  5. Do not bleach
